Memories grow around my heart,

Forming who I am.

Observing the world around me,

Listening.

Sharing what I learn.

Breathe in as I breathe out.

I fear the thunder,

Love the rain,

And call the dirt my home.

If I am torn down and broken,

I learn to grow again.

You come from me,

and end with me,

as new life emerges.

I am the Earth that surrounds you,

The nature,

The forest,

The trees,

The moss and the mushrooms,

The hummus and the leaves.
